We learnt about the role of a Police Officer this week and enjoyed our visit from Constable Painter. We learnt about the speed gun, The Dog Squad, drug dogs, a Scene Of Crime Officer and some of us got to wear the special tools, clothing and weapons that a police officer needs to wear in order to stay safe and to be effective in their work. I wonder if any of us will get to be a police officer when we grow up. i hope that our uniforms fit us a little better when that happens!!!
